If there is one thing I really hate it is picking sizes! (and I think jobs knows it! shh;)) because in all reality I know I could get by with a 16gb no problem... but then there is that inkling inside of me that's like well what if one day there is that one video or whatever that i really want but just can't fit on my 16gb and i'm going to be so mad at myself for not just shelling out that extra cash this once (even though i don't really have the cash to dish out.. more like credit hah) so ill prob. walk into att thinking i'll be going for the 16 and end up walking out with the 32... i just can't control myself! hah but it's ok... I'm a film student and people are constantly asking to see my reel so maybe I can use the extra space as like a "mobile reel" or something???

I'm probably dreaming, but:
$299 = 8 GB
$399 = 16 GB
$499 = 32 GB (a couple of years ago, an iPod with 30 GB was huge, maybe now we get it in our phone, nice)
THAT would be great?

Doubt it.
Probably saving that as an upgrade for January 2009 after all the suckers have bough an iPhone for Christmas.
Same deal as the 16Gb model. :D

I won't be upgrading my 8gb iphone unless there is a 32gb variety. So there had better be. ;)

I haven't really seen anyone saying that there WOULDN'T be one
In fact, most if not almost all rumors have a 32 being included I believe

If there is one, I'll be getting it.
If there's not, I guess I'll have to go 16GB and then be pissed in August when a 32GB comes out.

I 'm only using about 4GB on my present iPhone, so I'll be perfectly satisfied with 16.

I'm only using about 5GB on mine, but if there is a 32GB available, I'm going to need to own the best version...

I think there will be one. Remember, Apple wants you to buy the iPhone, not the iPod touch. A 32GB option would certainly bring new customers.

Definitely, no question. It's been in the touch for a while now.

They CAN achieve 32GB in the iPhone. That is the amount I need to get rid of my iPod and truly have an all-in-one device.

Definitely, no question. It's been in the touch for a while now.
that's because the touch can fit two 16gb chips no problem, the current iPhone only has room for one chip. So its all a matter of whether the new iPhone will have enough space to fit two internal memory chips.
I might be dreaming but i Hope the 16gb replaces the 8gb in the $399 mark... and then HOPEFULLY the 32 will be 499...
but knowing apple it'll probably stay 8 and 16 with an upgrade to better memory in 3-6 months.

Personally I'd think 64. The first 64GB CF cards are out there, and I don't see why not, other than price?
When Apple can get pre-release intel processors - why not a big hunk of EEPROM?

That's the boat I'm in. The reason why I didn't get the first iphone is because it didn't have 3G and the storage was too small. 32GB is the sweet spot. If the 3G iphone doesn't come in anything higher than 20GB, I'm gonna have to wait yet again.
