can I trade it in for the new 3g iphone? Will I have to have a reciept within 14 days?

as long as you are within 14 days of the purchase date. If the item is already opened then they will charge you a restocking fee as well.

Depends on if the 3G phone is released before your 14 days are up.

I'd say MAYBE if you have a receipt and it's within 14 days. If not, no way. 🙄

As long as you pay $.01 with a debit or credit card, they allow it.

Yeah, I'd return it now. It could be 2 weeks from now before we see the new iPhones in stores.
