Applications not staying organized

Hi, Everybody!

So I have my applications folder organize all of my programs alphabetically. However, for the past several weeks when I go to my applications folder, they are not in alphabetical order and they are not even "snapped to the grid" like it says it is.

Has anyone been having the same problem? If so, have you found a way to make it stop doing this? It is not a major issue, but just an annoyance that I have to deal with every time I go to my applications.
