wtf, so we all wait for this wwdc and all they do is repeat showing the same iphone 2.0 app and developer tests and then iphone 2.0 and software update will be not available today?

First they promised March and all we get is a new release date for June, that sucked, I was gutted.

I've waited for today, for what feels like I lifetime. I've been checking the iTunes app all day for an update, really excited.

And the mofo announces it will be available July. Not even an apology for the delay.

Maybe in July, they will tell us it will be available in August or perhaps available to select countries only. I've lost faith.

Get one of those plastic cases that covers it up dude, no more scratches.

Honestly though, GPS and a $199 entry price... Cheap looking or not, this thing is gonna fly off the shelves even faster than the original.

I know we have high expectations as Apple consumers but I mean, c'mon, give them some credit. Plastic back or not, they satisfied the two most commonly heard rumors this year.

Regardless of what they do now, this is been a massive disappointment. For me at least.

Though I'm disappointed mainly with the delays rather than the specs etc. Though an improved camera would be nice and the plastic back is going to suck big time.

I'm sure they've done it on purpose, to create more free press for themselves when every news site in the ****ing world start talking about the law suits and complaints about scratches making their new iPhones look like dog ****.

Surprised it doesn't roll out to territories that already have it over the next month, but I guess there is a production/training/stocking demand, I suspect if Apple had geared up to sell in their core markets (even if that was just the US) from tomorrow they really couldn't prevented every detail from leaking and pictures being taken, they have a month to shift these to stores without worrying about anything they haven't already talked about leaking.

I would love to be able to head over and buy one tomorrow/next week/next 2 weeks/next 3 weeks but I've been waiting for the 3G iPhone since they released the original so I can cope with a month.
