What is happening to .mac?

What will happen to us .mac subscribers? Will they change us to me.com or do we have to wait for it to expire?

Also will we have both email addresses or what?

Thank goodness, I really didn't want to have my suffix being @me.com. I can deal with both, though. Looks like a good service.

just got am email saying the following

As a MobileMe subscriber, you can continue to use your mac.com address for email. You will also be issued a me.com address with the same user name that you can use if you prefer. The choice is yours.

I think its great, current .mac subscribers will be upgraded from 10GB to 20GB! also, its pretty much the same features as .mac, but mobileme apparently has a few more as well.
