If 3G iPhone is releasing on July 11, why did AT&T send a memo to employees not to take vacation from 15June,
Something fishy. Steve said 3G iPhone will be releasing in 30 countries on July 11. But, was he referring new markets?
Any ideas...

I think it is July 11th for both old and new markets but I hope someone can prove me wrong!

Some countries July 11th, others are "coming soon". The earliest date is July 11th.

Its simple. Apple had no clue of the official launch date in time for ATT to give proper notice to its employees. Apple just said this is our target range and came up with the official date... moments before the keynote :-) Notice the commercial didn't have a date either.
