Is the HD 2600 officially supported yet? I bought it when it came out, even though Apple called to say it didn't work, however I've had it for a while now and it works...

Only thing are occasional freezes, which I believe are a heat issue.

So is it officially supported, and has anyone else experienced the occasional freezes?

Did the firmware update appear in Software Update?

Just curious...

If the firmware update isn't available in Software Update, download it from Apple's website. As for the HD2600 XT working in 2006 Mac Pros, it shouldn't have an issue, I had one for three months. I never experienced the freezes though.
