Restoring item from Trash

Accidentally placed a file in the trash. How do I restore it to the original location? I cant remember what folder I deleted it from. Thanks.

I don't think you can... there was a thread on this a while ago but no one knew how to do it...

Have you tried searching for its name through Time Machine?
