Screen Gems distributes a number of vintage classic shows, including TJ Hooker, Charlie's Angels, Starsky and Hutch and I Dream Of Jeannie. Individual episodes of all four shows cost just 1.19 each.

More shows for 1.19 an episode, hopeful more shows will be at this price tag.

I'm 35 and American TV has been a part of TV life ever since I can remember. Growing up, certainly all the exciting shows were American; The A-Team, Chips, Battlestar Galactica, Buck Rodgers. Some of my favourite comedy shows are American too (The Simpsons, Seinfeld, The Larry Sanders Show). Lucky for us, we didn't have to sit through as many adverts as you guys ;-)

I'm not surprised at the popularity of the BBC in America; its a very different organisation to TV companies in America, so you will get things on there you would never get if it was down to pure economics.
