Time Machine Question

i have a question about time machine.

i just updated quicktime to 7.5, and as some of you may have already heard/experienced, the audio for divx/xvid video no longer works. can i use time machine to go back to yesterday and restore quicktime 7.4? will this work?

If you use your install DVD and restore to a time before you updated it WILL be before the update. You'll also lose everting that has been done since then. You may be able to go back in the TM program and restore just the QT application file and be good to go. I would try the latter first.
