Well, the 500 GB Samsung drive (5400 RPM, compatible with the 15" MacBook Pro and the MacBook) has gone on sale (http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/woot/).
I know this has been beaten to death, and I understand there are a lot of arguments for and against a smaller, but faster RPM drive versus a larger, but slower RPM drive. I am wondering, in comparing this 500 GB, 5400 RPM drive to a 200 GB, 7200 RPM drive, what would you say would be faster?
I understand that capacity can make a difference.
