i have a playlist that i made in itunes and want to move it onto my ipod.. however alot of the songs (if not all) are already on my ipod. and if i move the playlist over it will duplicate all the songs.. is there a better way to do this?
i know i can put all the ipod songs on my computer and then transfer it over but i have about 16GB of music on my ipod :(

iTunes will only copy files that aren't already on your iPod. It won't create multiple copies of anything.

Are the songs on the iPod already part of the iTunes library in which the new playlist has been created? If so, you won't get duplicate copies. If not, I'm not sure what to tell you. You could always manually remove the duplicates on the iPod by choosing manual update, right?
