Will MobileMe be for me.com accounts only or will it also work with other e-mail accounts?

In other words, could I use the service to sync my "johndoe@johndoe.com" account between my PC, iPhone, and webmail?
 
Does MobleMe offer photo linking (if that's the correct term) so you can use photos in other web sites like this?

Exactly. The only problem with this though... would be that when you respond to that email, it will come from your "@me.com" address.
