View Full Version : Getting 5.1 surround sound

I have the Logitech X-530 speakers and a Creative USB Sound Blaster to hook up those speakers to my Macbook. Whenever anything plays, it only uses the two main speakers, not the other three. Is there anyway that I can get the other speakers to work? Thanks.

Check out Griffin FireWave. It's discontinued now, but can still be found for like $24.

The problem isn't hooking up the speakers, it's that not all of the speakers play sound.

I'm willing to bet the problem is with the sound card sending out a 2.0 signal.
