Hey I have a EMU 0404 audio interface with a white macbook 2.1 gHz.
All I do is have the guitar 1/4" into the EMU and the EMU hooked up the macbook.
But I always get terrible sound quality of the guitar when I play it through Garage Band or Guitar Rig. Its noisy and fuzzy.
However when I hook up a microphone it records and sounds beautiful with no noise.
Is there some-kind of setting that I have to adjust to make my guitar play clean through the EMU and mac?
