Did anybody else notice this in the "Whats included the box" portion of apple's website. Also noticed it requires i-Tunes 7.7. Not important just found it odd. Carry on.
It happens every once in a while even in sanctioned cases -- here are examples of scenarios that are officially sanctioned (i.e. involve no jailbreaking, unlocking, or other forms of skullduggery that I have committed 😀 ):
- If your iPhone breaks and you get a replacement, you will typically keep your SIM and put it in the new iPhone
- If you buy a used iPhone from someone and activate it with your country's official carrier in the official way, you will need to put a SIM in it (and there's nothing particularly illegal about that)
Granted, the rumor seems to be that AT&T in the US will want you to actually come to a physical AT&T store (the nerve! 🙄 ), so it would seem that it would have been cheaper to just outfit every AT&T store with a paperclip, but... 😀
