So I've had my current MB for about 8 months, and its starting to feel a bit sluggish. I'm just wondering how others maintain the zip that we all love in our apple computers. I upgraded to 4GB of ram, and keep at least 20GB free on my HDD, so I don't think those things are an issue. Any tips??

you can use OnyX to run some system maintainence tasks.

i usually run the automated set of tasks once every month or so.

*be careful with this program though! it gives you access to many system settings that are otherwise difficult to fiddle with.

To speed it up, you can (in ascending order)

Reboot

>Reset Safari

>>Run System Update

>>>Run Onyx

>>>>Reinstall OS X
