I made the mistake of using filevault. Can anyone give me proper instruction on how to turn it off? When it reverses the decryption process and places everything in my Home folder...does that mean I will have duplicate files? Can I delete those files afterward? Can I just manually delete the .sparsebundle? thank you for any help that anyone can give me.

Should apply to Leopard, too. Just make sure you have at least as much free space as your home directory takes up. (Eg-home folder=10 gigs....make sure you have at least 10 gigs free).

Other than that, you should just be able to click off.
