I was wondering, what's the highest temperature you've seen on your macbook?

Yep. The CPU will shut down before it reaches a dangerous temp. I was encoding a DVD on a hot day last year (and my MacBook runs a little warm compared to others).

hmm...same here, mine reaches about 84C while burning DVDs and, incredibly, with long printing jobs!

I've seen 90º+ for the CPU A too, before it shut itself down.
What temps are people seeing on MacBooks for the 'Heatsink B', because mine is regularly seeing a ridiculous(at least it seems to be) 120º!
On a related note, how hot does your charger get? Mine seems way too hot at times.*
*On another related note: I would advise members note to fall asleep and roll over onto their charger. I did and woke with a burn on my back, the blister was about 3cm across and 8mm raised. Ouch!

Charger, it depends. These days I use the macbook as a desktop, so it's plugged in all the time - no high temps. It seems to me it reaches the highest temps when it starts charging, for about an hour or so
