Universal Dock

Hey guys, I just got given an Apple Universal Dock (newest one). Iv plugged my external speakers into the line out and placed my iPod Touch in the Dock but it wont play music through it! Also the remote doesn't skip songs, play/pause or change the volume!!! Does anyone have any advice! Thanks

You could have a dud dock, in terms of the IR port on the front :eek:, but more than likely the battery in the remote is dead - check that first. :cool:

I will try giving the batteries a change. Hopefully that will help...

Has anyone else ever had this problem with their dock? It charges but does not play music through the line out!!! Any help would be appreciated.

i just got one on wednesday and i've been able the use the remote and listen to music from it perfectly fine
