hi. i have iweb. i have an html code that i need to insert into my webpages.
when i try to do this it comes out with only the code, not the actual icon that i want.
does anyone know how to do this?
how can i get the icon to show instead of all the coding?
thx!

I believe you just need to insert HTML snippet from one of the menus.

In iWeb, under the Insert menu there's a HTML Snippet option. Use this to insert your HTML for the icon.

thx for responding angelwatt.
when i go to the insert menu, the catagories that come up are: date, time, hyperlink, text, shape, button, and choose.
and clicking on any of them don't go to an html snippet.
is there another way?

What version of iWeb are you using? I have version 2.0.3, which has the snippet option. I don't know of any other way.
Edit: This page shows adding a snippet under Web Widgets. (http://aquafadas.eu/wiki/BannerZest:iWeb) Though I don't know specifically where the web widgets is at.
Actually this page from Apple may be of better help. (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=iWeb/2.0/en/9903.html)
