Ok my computer broke and no longer works. It has everything on it including my itunes with all my songs. Is there any third party programs that will allow me to get my songs to my new computer without deleting my songs on my ipod? And I mean a third party program that takes all your songs and puts them on your computer, not just like 5 songs. And thats free?

Is the HD broke, or some other hardware?

If the HD is fine, you can put it into an external casing from NewEgg for less than 50 bucks. I recommend this way rather than using freeware. A lot of freeware doesn't really keep your stuff organized, and most of them turned into shareware.

If you are using a Mac then you could try Senuti

Senuti from Version Tracker (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/23390&vid=516372&mode=info)

+1 for Senuti, it kicks ass and now supports the iPod touch.

No I'm not using a MAC, and no I dont really want an external hardrive. All I want is a third party software that get all your songs from my ipod to my new computer without deleting the songs on my ipod. And I mean all that songs off not just 5 songs.

If your using a PC this is what I did last time to get all my songs.
1. Plug in your device
2. Open up My computer
3. Click the device that holds you music
4. Open up the folder with the music in it.
5. Select all music
6. Right click and select copy.
7. Go to your music folder (Assuming you have Vista)
8. And paste it.
And tadah!
All your music from your ipod touch to ur computer. BTW! I'm also assuming you bought a new comp.

Next time you post, try to include a few more details about your computer (ie Mac or PC) then you may get the answer you are looking for.

And don't get so snotty if you don't get the answer you want first time.
