The curious person I am,
I just bought .mac and I decided to try and use iChat
with my .mac username, but @me.com instead
and it works.

Nothing big, but I thought it was interesting that iChat ID's are already useable. However, imap.me.com wasn't reachable when trying to bring mail in.

Didn't work for me:

Host unknown (Name server: me.com: host not found)

EDIT: oh, your talking about iChat, I thought you meant Mail.

oh...i just bought a .Mac family plan as I would like my email addresses to end in @mac.com instead of @me.com or @mobileme.com

Hope i'll still be able to get the @mac.com email address now.

Negatory on mail

Authentication for iChat might work, but not mail yet:
