If artwork isn't recognised

Hi there

When I load some of my more 'obscure' albums onto my MBP it recognises the songs but not the album artwork. This isn't a problem as I can just copy it from the internet into itunes.

However when I transfer the album to my touch the artwork does not appear.

Is there any way around this?

I've never experienced this but the only thing I can think of would be if the image is an unsupported format, maybe try a more standard one such as JPEG or PNG and report back. It may also be worthwhile restarting the iPod and see if anything changes.

well lets make sure your doing it right (although both ways may work) when you get to the album, select all the songs, and hit apple I, then drag the picture into the album art spot, hit ok. If that's how your doing it then I don't know any other way.

I get the same problem I just deleted the album artwork that I put in and put it back in again and for some reason it worked for me I don't know why
