Powerbook case defect?

hi,

just got my new powerbook 12" home, noticed a very slight gap between the edge above the latch and the beading ofd the palm rest just in front of the trackpad button.

Anyone else seen / heard of this?

It's supposed to be like that. It's done so the keyboard doesn't rub against the screen. Previous PowerBooks did this, and left marks on the screen.
