The Mac + Printer deal ($100 rebate) ends on July 21 -- just one week after Montevina comes out... and on a Monday. So MacBook update could happen Tuesday 7/22.

Google it and confirm it yourself. The 8400 and x4500 bench nearly the same (the x4500 falls behind ever so slightly), even without final drivers on the x4500. As drivers are finalized (and later updated), performance will increase. The chip also fully supports DirectX 10.

true, but the free ipod deal doesn't end until september 15. which happens to be a monday as well. so sept 16? or they could be upgrading ipods then. i'm hoping for early august updates though, cause i have to buy for college by 8/13 if i want a discount.
