hi again! another quick question.
I have a HP Deskjet 5940, which I got like 2 years ago, as a rebate when I bought my Macbook. I've cut a hole in the box, neat hole, to claim the rebate. I've never touched the printer inside. But now, 2 years later, I'm thinking of getting rid of it on ebay.
my worry is the catridge. will it have gone bad after so long? should I take the catridge out and sell just the printer?

thanks for helping, again!

I believe the ink will only dry out of the protective bag or seal is removed from the catridge.

If you still got the cartridge package check for a cartridge life date...

I know some HP ink boxes does have some 'use by date' printed on them..
