Hi,

I have an Open Directory Leopard Server running mail, build 10.5.3.

It is the only server on the network.

Mail sent from either of the two clients logged on to the server results in the error message - mail for (e.g. example.com) loops back to myself.

I know I need to edit the main.cf file in the postfix directory.

I think I need to add an entry to the 'my destination' entry?

I know this from when I set up Leopard Server mail before the 10.5.3 update came out.

This is a new installation with the 10.5.3 update. I wrongly assumed that the problem would have been fixed..

Unfortunately I didn't note the fix done at the time!

So help please

Thanks

Andy

Hi,

I have now managed to fix the problem after an even more extensive search on the internet.

No file editing was required! Just an additional entry in the hosting section in the Mail configuration.

I was rather thrown off track by our Linux/Unix expert who thought it was a bug in Postfix and went in an 'solved' the problem a different way.
