Since there will b no text messages included on the new data plan, I was wondering if I'm on a family plan that already has unlimted texts, it is possible to use that now, unlike before

Previously, existing AT&T customers kept their existing plan and simply paid an extra $20 for the unlimited data plan. The minutes etc. stayed the same. The data plan goes up to $30 for a 3G iPhone, but I don't know if they still let you maintain all your other features or force you onto an iPhone plan.
