Ive researched but havnt found a specific way of being able to go from Leopard to Tiger.

I have the Tiger dvd, placed it in, now if i clikc on Install Mac OS X it says it cant be installed on this machine.

Are there any work arounds for this?

if the machine came with leopard you cant downgrade

also if you have an intel mac and a tiger retail dvd, it wont work as the retail dvd is ppc

if the tiger disk is the restore disk for your machine, it would work

It came with tiger but no restore discs as its was a refurb laptop.

Its a core 2 duo...but the tiger disc is a retail disc though 🙁

So i cant do anything 🙁

If I were you i would just stick with Leopard but if you insist on using Tiger I would just buy a set of restore discs from ebay or a third party site. Just be sure they are the ones for your model.

I am not sure where you originally bought your laptop but if it was from the Apple refurb store it should have come with the restore discs.
