I have a Logitech MX Revolution mouse that skips about my screen like a hyperactive child. I tried it on my flatmates MacBook and it worked fine.

Anything that might be causing interference?

I've got all the current software updates etc - I don't think it's got anything to do with them though as so does my flatmate.

Have you tried it on different surfaces? Not all surfaces work well with optical mice.

I've got it on wood, a mouse mat and white paper. None really help :(

Have you had it tested for ADD? You might want to download and install Prozac 3.2 or Valium 1.7. :D

Seriously, here's something I found in a Google search:

like Chas said, the mousing surface is likely your culprit. But also turn your mouse over and check the laser. Keep it clean - lint is its worst enemy.

If it works with one computer but not the other, then I doubt it.

I've never been much of a reader.
