Hey,
I just purchased a 15" MBP (2.4 GHz, 200 GB @ 5200 rpm) and want to get an external harddrive to go along with it. I will only really use it with TimeMachine to backup all the files on my computer, so I want to get a harddrive that will be compatible with that.
I'm torn between these two:

http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/...oductdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&cs=19&sku=A1471187
I have a $200 gift card to Dell, that is why I am ordering from there... lol.
I guess my question is would either of these work with TimeMachine? (They say they work with Mac OS 10.5, but I'm not sure if that means TimeMachine will run on them easily).
Also, I assume that Firewire is faster than USB 2.0 (and I think I can use both the 400 and 800 on the same HD, I read that somewhere - right?). But, is it worth it to get the PCI adapter for eSata since all I will use it for is TimeMachine?
Thanks
