I'm selling my PowerBook G3 Pismo 400MHz with Firewire, USB, AirPort card, 10GB hard drive, CD-ROM, upgradeable to G4, running MacOS 9.2.2.
I'm in Ireland; what's the best international Mac site to advertise it for sale?

you're gonna get the most money on ebay. but ebay can be a real ***** too, so be careful.

I also have a similar situation, but I would like to avoid ebay if possible. Any other suggestions? I plan on posting some fliers and telling all the people I know, but what if that doesn't work?

I think selling stuff on ebay is pretty safe. Of course, you want a buyer to pay before you ship anything, and putting enough 'small print' in your ad (computer sold as is, all sales final...) will protect you against a lot of potential hassles...
Also, some Mac stores will let you trade in your old computer when you buy a new one...

Hmmm. I went to both macsolutions and macofalltrades, but neither seemed to be able to allow me to sell a G3 PowerBook. Hmmm.
Maybe I'll just put it in the paper. I suddenly realise I'd prefer to see the face of the person who's going to be using my preciouss.
