wanna get a Core2Duo mini to replace my G4 mini but worry that the "new mini" might come out in next month or so. i decide to go for an used Mini. saw a few listing on ebay that had only been used for couple of months. will it still covered my Apple warranty if i am not the original buyer? and could i still get AppleCare for it? thanks

If it is under the original warranty (ie less than 1 year old) you can get AppleCare.

There even is a place on Apple's website to check for eligibility.

Yep. If Apple notices that you opened the case, your warranty is immediately void.
Not true. As long as you don't damage anything when oepening the case, your warranty is still valid. Although opening the case itself sounds like you are damaging the mini. 😱
