I put my MP to sleep for the afternoon today. I woke it up to run Parallels but I got an error message that said "could not find disk 1 (my XP disc). Strange I thought so I went into Disk Utility and all of my disks where reversed. Normally my Macintosh disk is 0, my XP disc is 1 and my Vista disk is 2. Disk Utility showed that this was completely reversed. XP was disc 0, Vista was disc 1,and Mac was disk 2.
I rebooted and everything went back to normal. What's going on here is this a bug?

Sounds like a bug, yes. That shouldn't be happening when you put your Mac to sleep then wake it later.
