Mac OS 10.4 Quits Unexpectedly When I Withdraw A USB Device, I get the grey screen which says I should hold the power button or reset button.......
it's been happening for a while now. what's wrong? Is it because I changed my hard disk from 80gb to 120gb? 😕

Are you just unplugging the drives or ejecting them from the finder 1st?

Are you using a USB hub? I got the 'grey screen' sporadically when removing USB flash drives from a Belkin (Mac Supported) USB hub. Removed the hub - no more grey screen.... was running tiger at the time, maybe I should try again now i have leopard....
