I have a video clip from CNN of my family when they were interviewed recently that I'd like to burn and put on a dvd for them to watch in their regular dvd players. What do I need to do to get this on a viewable dvd? Any free options?

Once you have the Flash video, drop it into Visualhub.

Try iSquint. It's by the same people as VisualHub, but it's free.

I also have quicktime Pro if that's an option. My question w/quicktime is after I convert it what program do I use to burn a dvd? Are there any iDVD alternatives? I dont really like idvd...it's slow.

try Perian (http://perian.org/#download) its free and you could import directly into iMovie then iDVD. iDVD may be slow but it working with video always is. Toast is also an option.

Visualhub is the best. It has a straight to DVD option:)
