I hope this is the right place for this question…

Ok, a little history. I have never used, worked with or on, hardly ever even seen a Mac. Now I need to set up a DSN (or equivalent) on a Mac to connect to a database, read records and write them to a flat file.

I would like to do this using the same PHP script, with as little modification as possible, that I use with Windows.

So the question is, how do I set up a DSN on a Mac? The database I need to connect to is Sybase. I have not been able to find a Sybase driver for Mac. Is there such a thing? Am I looking for the wrong thing? I am so confused!

A simple [url=http://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en-gb&q=Sybase+OSX+ODBC&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8Google search[/url] indicates that there are multiple ODBC drivers for Sybase available for OSX.

I was searching for the wrong thing, OSX instead of Mac, I have what I need.

Google Search (http://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en-gb&q=Sybase+OSX+ODBC&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8Google search)
