I hope this is the right place for this question…

Ok, a little history. I have never used, worked with or on, hardly ever even seen a Mac. Now I need to set up a DSN (or equivalent) on a Mac to connect to a database, read records and write them to a flat file.

I would like to do this using the same PHP script, with as little modification as possible, that I use with Windows.

So the question is, how do I set up a DSN on a Mac? The database I need to connect to is Sybase. I have not been able to find a Sybase driver for Mac. Is there such a thing? Am I looking for the wrong thing? I am so confused!
