Airport connection unstable - common?

Hello,

I notice that no matter what wireless network I connect to, I have stability issues with it that usually require me to turn off airport and turn it back on to have it reconnect with the network before it decides to work again. Is this a known issue with Macbook Pro's (running 10.5.3)? Maybe take it to Apple and see what the hells the problem?

yes. I am having the same problem. I just got this computer a week or so ago...

Its driving me nuts! It scans for networks ALWAYS and when it stops working i have to turn it off and back on. Really annoying.

But i have not found any fixes yet, ive found a LOT of material about the problem. But no fix yet
