I'm renewing/reactivating my .mac account today, and it asks if someone adviced .mac to me, so if I mension that person, he/she can get a discount as a loyal member..

so if someone gives their .mac email address to me, I can make them have 20% discount.

It's not like it was secretive, it is available to anyone who clicks on the email button under any post that I make.

Actually, the email button doesn't give me your address, it just opens up a page where I can send you an email. You would have to reply in order for me to get your address.
