is their a way to write to ntfs hdd

I have a 750gb external hard drive that me and my brother use and he has windows and I have mac and he has tones of stuff on their and I have stuff I have to put on there to. Is their a way to write to ntfs external hard drives with osx leopard. The only time I can use it is in bootcamp.
 
It dosent work. I install the MacFUSE Core.pkg and restart my computer and I still cant write to my ntfs hdd. it says for permissions only read NOT read and write. Ill try Paragon. Am I doing something wrong.

Did you also install NTFS-3G ?? as if not you should have
 
No worries,but if you need a free version MacFuse does work as long as you install NTFS-3G with it
