Boot Camp Update 2.1... 45 minutes and counting!

What the hell? I downloaded Boot Camp Update 2.1 through Apple Update and it started to install and now it's stuck for 45 minutes! 😡

Apple ought to stick to Apple and leave Microsoft's stuff alone. 😡

First the bug with Safari and now this. I hope it doesn't trash my partition. 🙁
 
Well, I finally canceled the install --for all the good that did me. I clicked on stop and it just sat their saying it was canceling the install. BS! 😡

So I tried to reboot but it just sat there as well (the shut down screen).

So I started stopping things in the task manager and it eventually shut down.

It just rebooted (THANK GOD!) and I'm going to try it again. Grrr! 😡
 
I'm a little annoyed that 2.1 isn't standalone but it worked fine after I installed Service Pack 3 first.
