Lost Audio on my PB 12" sync'd with Apple TV

I just lost my audio on my PB after I sync'd it to my new Apple TV.

My PB is osx 10.5.3

I can play sound through the Apple TV from the PB but no audio on the PB itself. Checked the settings and it looks like I have no speakers. When I did a restart the speakers make the shut down sound. So I guess I need drivers.. Anybody any idea?? 😕
 
Ok I just did a shut down which fixed the problem 🙂

So what is the difference between a shut down and a restart?

Ah hell who cares it works again.
