I have a bunch of shares that I have to mount everytime manually upon booting to OSX (CMD+K from finder) is there a way to automatically mount these when I boot intt OSX?

Mount them manually and then drag them to the Login Items pane under your account in System Preferences/Accounts. That is how I automount my AEBS AirDisk partitions and it works great.

What if you want something more like persistent mounts? I rarely log off, but use my macbook pro between the house and work, so I would want my music share at home to connect, then when I go to work disconnect, then connect again when I get home? I thought Leopard was supposed to have something like this. I would also like to get rid of the annoying messages on disconnect.
