i assume many have heard of gingrich's recent comments.
i'm reminded of the last time he went on the offensive -- it was against the State Dept., and specifically powell. i had assumed at the time that his powell-bashing had to do w/ the fact that gingrich and rumsfeld are friends, and gingrich was basically doing rumsfeld a favor at a time when actually having the iraq war, at least publically, wasn't certain.
now i have to wonder if gingrich is again going at it w/ a hidden agenda -- perhaps in support of rumsfeld after the rebuilding was taken away from him? the timing isn't quite right... anyone have any insight as to "why now?"
