Why iddn't apple release them, in there dark ages, they would have taken the market by storm!!!

Hey cool. They are a couple of seriously sweet designs. I think they would still sell well if they were released tomorrow!

Oh yeah, I remember those from an old Danish Mac Magazine.

There were newtons with colored casings too, and some tablet-like thing (wasn't it sculley who wanted tablets put Jobs who killed it?)

They were real...

there are a bunch of pictures from an Apple Design book that's no longer published.

Apple apparently did a whole lot of research with alternative materials as well... wood, aluminum etc....

I have got this book, and I look at it quite often, has anyone actually read the whole thing? I havent, just parts!

I'm with arn...... well not with arn if you catch my drift..... that's a cool looking apple..... :D clean and minimal!!

The first 2, whilst they're innovative, they are completely over-designed and engineered, especially that second one....... Ewww........ :p

The Apple Product design book though is amazing, let's hope that a revised edition is released soon, as I'd love to see what Ive's non-production doodles are like...... :D
