I'm running a G4 Dual 867 w/Combo Drive and just started getting this message when i try to burn with Toast 5.2.1 at 16X.

**EDIT**
I CAN get Toast to burn at 10x and BELOW. It will keep getting the error message at 16 and 12x.

AND, I updated Toast to 5.2.3 and then to 6.0 and both had the same error message.***

The drive reported an error:
Sense Key = HARDWARE ERROR
Sense Code = 0x44, 0xFC
INTERNAL TARGET FAILURE

Help me please.

MMMMM, may have to upgrade to 6.0.3 for 10.3.

Hi have a problem with Toast 6.01 on my iBook as well. When I burn a CD I get an error message : buffer overrun.

I will download 6.03 and hope that it works then.

The other thing I try is to burn at slower speeds. Maybe that helps
