i installed Navizon through the installer app the other day to play around with it. i noticed that when it found me, it found exactly where i was in 4 different locations. when i use the locate me function in apple's maps app, you get the 5 block circle.

i would assume both apps would be finding your location with the same information, no? if so, why is Navizon's so much better at pinpointing exactly where you're at? if not, is there a way to improve apple's proximity?

No idea, but it works better the other way around for me. Navizon is out by a mile - google has me spot on.

It maybe because of your location.

I have to agree. In San Francisco, Google Maps is almost always dead-on, whereas Navizon would seldom get within several blocks, which is why I nuked it...
