I am looking for a digital voice recorder. Any recommendations ?

It greatly depends on what you'll use it for, but Olympus DVRs are very easy to use. I have one that stores six hours, uploads the recording to the Mac, and the batteries last a long time.

that's exactely what I am looking for. Can you please tell me the model you're using. Some DVR from Olympus seem not to work poperly with the MAC OS. I use 10.3...

I have a DS-330. Download the latest software from the Olympus web site. It should cost about $90.

The Philips seems to be the best of the bunch. Highly recommended by PCMag.

If it's too expensive, then go with one of the less expensive ones from Olympus, Sony or Panasonic. Choose the one that has features you can really use :)

Why don't you get the add-on for the iPod?

The Phillips 9250 doesn't work with the Mac. I spent two weeks looking at all of the various devices. A very neat DSS-330 feature is the setting for close or far recording--classroom or one-on-one.
